A brownie is a cake classic, and of course it can be made in a vegan edition. Our brownie with No Egg is crisp on the outside and spongy on the inside - just as it should be.
130 g margarine
260 g dark chocolate
150 g DAVA No Egg
210 g xylitol
2 g salt
8 g baking powder
2 tsp vanilla sugar
140 g spelt flour, type 630
Melt the margarine and chocolate over a water bath. Preheat the oven to 180 °C, circulating air.
Mix DAVA No Egg with xylitol, salt, baking powder and vanilla sugar and mix it. Add the flour till it is an even dough.
Add the melted chocolate and margarine in the dough and mix it slowly.
Pour the dough into a baking tin lined with baking paper and spread it.
Bake the cake for 30-35 minutes, check if it is done with a fork or knitting pin. Let the chocolate brownie cool down a bit before serving it.
